Thank you so much for your feedback and support! It really means a lot and encourages me to keep going. I'm actually not getting any commission work at the moment because I am doing a lot of work for my newspaper (I am a journalism student, believe it or not) but if I could earn money from doing this stuff I would do it in a second :)

I am really surprised you're not getting commissioned... I would just try to get some stuff out there for low or no dollars if it gains you the exposure you need, and im my opinion all you need is exposure and the commissions should start coming in for you... please don't stop sharing, I really enjoy your style and composition... Did you minor in graphic design or digital photography, or do you just use photoshop for fun and you're the next Mozart ...?

Aww thank you!! I'm actually majoring in journalism and I just do photoshop/traditional art for fun. I would have studied art in college but I love to travel above all and journalism would let me do that (hopefully, ha). I am also really shy about my art and it's so much easier to show it to strangers on the internet rather than people I know... you know? I kind of regret not minoring in graphic design, I could probably do some sweet artwork if I actually learned how to use stuff properly!

For someone with little or no training you do very well ..you may not have every technical skill or know all the techniques, but you have something much more important...imagination and the ability to express it..(probably a carry over from journalism).

I am working towards my BFA with a MAT at a pretty good university and I can tell you that your stuff is more interesting and better organized than 90% of the people I go to school with. I really like your style and the way you are able to bring your imagination to the screen. Now you just need to get out there and take some really interesting pictures so you don't have to rely on stock quite so much (not that it's a bad thing, just not entirely yours when you use stock...)

I hope to see lots more from you..definitely my #1 fave on this site ! I am not a photoshop wizard because I do a lot more logo design and packaging with Adobe Illustrator (which I don't post here due to copyright and intellectual property laws, so you'll likely not see any of my "real" work unless it makes it way to mainstream by TV or print ads...I am hoping to do a sports drink or something edgy one of these days. A friend of mine just did a shoe design for Nike that paid out around $70,000.00 ...One of those might be nice or an energy drink or something that let's you be a little more creative)

You probably should look into a minor in graphic design , you're such a natural...!

Sorry I babbled on for ever , take care and keep up the good work !!!

Whoa.. the idea that I am somebody's favorite artist on this site blows my mind! There are so many incredible artists whose work goes unnoticed because only superficial sexpot Hollywood crap makes it to the top around here (I'm not sure where you live, I'm from the U.S.). But thank you so much for your feedback, I appreciate hearing what people genuinely think of my art. I agree with you about the stock photos, I'm not sure why I don't have more confidence in my own shots. Also I considered minoring in graphic design but I went for journalism because I love to travel and graphic design probably wouldn't let me do that much. But since the journalism industry is dying anyway I would definitely not mind going to graphic design school!

Do you have a facebook? I'm actually about to take a trip around the world, if you would like to follow my pictures you can add me(I'm not sure how much internet I'll have, but I will try to post pictures). Search for Stephani Stacy and you will probably recognize my profile picture!

I won't really be able to browse dA for like 4 months. Very depressing.

Yep, you are my fave... you may not be the most technical on this site, but your ideas and composition and use of color are all very amazing... I still think you need to minor in graphic design !!!

I am attending Plymouth State University ( New Hampshire ) working on my BFA with a MAT so I can teach art/graphic art ( K-12)....

I agree that the garbage gets too much attention, especially here in the states ...

I don't have a facebook profile ( I think I'm the last one on Earth not to have one, and it is a conscious decision) ..

I hope your trip goes well, be safe and keep those compositions coming !!!
